Victorian Teas

Sundays

A "Signature" event for the museum, held every Sunday.

We will be hosting weekend teas every weekend.  You can join in lively conversation on what and why the city of Joliet developed along Broadway
Street.  And why it where it the his is it is. "Joliet and not "Jolliet"  We need to save the skyline as it remains along Broadway Street.

The history of Joliet Parks is a twisted past with works by famous Landscape Architects who worked with architects, planners and other famous men to make Joliet a beautiful and exotic city.  A series of these parks, who built them and the use then and now.

May 3 and4 the Villa will be participating with the Route 66 event honoring the route from Joliet to Townda.  Joliet and the Villa will pay homage to the "driving trips" down Rte. 66 in the back seat of the car, without air conditioning.  The American Girl doll, Molly was living near Joliet and from our era.  Hot dogs and lemonade will be served.
